Job summary

Elliott Hudson College, part of The GORSE Academies Trust, is seeking a Progress Tutor to deliver high quality pastoral support to students aged 16-19. The role focuses on securing the best possible academic outcomes and involves personalised mentoring to help learners thrive.

As part of a committed trust, the post offers career development, access to pension schemes, and staff support programmes. The role involves 37 hours per week, term-time only plus two weeks (part-time hours considered).

Qualifications

• Experience forming relationships with young people in the 16-19 age range.
• Commitment to education and making a difference.
• Understanding of external agencies and avenues to support young people.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality and personalised pastoral support to the College's young people.
• Be accountable for the students in your care and support their academic outcomes.
• Contribute to building a culture of excellence and safeguarding within the College.
