Job summary

Change Grow Live is seeking a dedicated Recovery Worker to support individuals in HMP Humber, focusing on initiating recovery from drug and/or alcohol dependence and helping service users build sustainable recovery capital within a prison setting.

You will deliver group psychosocial interventions, tailor pod-based sessions to caseload needs, and collaborate with partners to promote access to treatment for diverse communities.

• To develop and deliver group psychosocial interventions. This includes pod working tailored to the needs of the caseload.
• To be creative and innovative so that the post best meets the needs of the service user, promoting access into treatment, and encouraging engagement with underrepresented communities.
• Assess suitability for groups related to risk and special needs, working closely with prison partners to schedule attendance.

Overview

With this role you’ll be working as part of the Drug and Alcohol Recovery team, based within HMP Humber.

We work closely alongside prison collegues to support people in recovery.Our team supports people with their drug and alcohol concerns, and the specifics of this role include both group work delivery and some one-to-one support.

Hours:37.5 hours per week

Contract:Permanent

Please note:Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
