Job summary

Change Grow Live is recruiting a Programmes Facilitator at HMP Channings Wood to support people in developing new skills, confidence, and motivation for change through structured group programmes and recovery-focused interventions.

You will create safe, inclusive environments, deliver recovery and psychosocial sessions, and work with prison staff and partner agencies to promote wellbeing and rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Experience in group facilitation or education is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage people from diverse backgrounds.
• Willingness to train and develop within a prison services context.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging recovery and psychosocial group programmes.
• Facilitate structured interventions, including the Atlas Programme.
• Create safe, inclusive, and supportive environments that encourage participation.
• Support individuals to build confidence, resilience, and motivation for change.
• Complete assessments and identify appropriate interventions.
• Provide one-to-one support to encourage engagement and progression.
• Work closely with healthcare teams, prison staff, and partner agencies.
• Contribute to improved wellbeing, reduced harm, and positive rehabilitation outcomes.

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours
