Job summary

Oldham College is seeking a committed Programme Tutor - English to support the effective delivery of College services and priorities.

Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons in line with curriculum and awarding body requirements. Monitor student progress, attendance and achievement, provide clear targets and timely feedback, and differentiate teaching to meet diverse learner needs, including SEND. Contribute to quality assurance and safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher (or working towards) with a strong English subject background.
• Experience delivering teaching in a learning environment, ideally within Further Education.
• Strong communication skills to engage and inspire learners.
• Ability to differentiate teaching for a range of learner needs.
• Organised and proactive with the ability to track progress and maintain accurate records.
