Job summary

First Recruitment Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Programme Planner to lead scheduling on major infrastructure projects at Heathrow on a contract basis. You will prepare and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and staffing utilisation, aligning execution plans with milestones and client expectations.

The role requires strong experience in planning controls, knowledge of Primavera and Microsoft Project, and the ability to analyse trends, risks, and performance data to support

Qualifications

  • Experience in planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring in office and site environments.
  • Strong knowledge of project controls, planning, scheduling, and cost engineering principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Primavera and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare project schedules, resource plans, and staffing utilisation plans.
  • Develop, maintain, monitor, and analyse project schedules and performance data.
  • Support project controls, planning, scheduling, cost engineering, and reporting activities.
  • Ensure project scope, milestones, and schedules are accurately reflected and aligned.
  • Provide schedule, resource, manpower, cost, and performance analysis.
  • Identify schedule risks, critical path activities, trends, and mitigation opportunities.
  • Develop and monitor short-term engineering and construction schedules.
  • Review schedule deviations and propose corrective actions.
