Job summary

Teledyne Qioptiq designs and manufactures high-performance electro-optic products for defence, aerospace and commercial applications across land, air, sea and space environments. We seek a Programme Manager who will bring structure, pace and sound judgement to technically complex programmes.

You will own programme outcomes, build trusted relationships, and drive delivery through multi-disciplinary teams to meet customer requirements, commercial commitments and operations targets.

Qualifications

• Experience leading projects or programmes involving complex products, technology, engineering or manufacturing.
• Ability to bring together cross-functional contributors, establish clear ownership and maintain momentum against agreed outcomes.
• Strong planning, schedule management, cost control, risk and issue management, change control and status reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead programmes across the New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle from bid to full-rate production.
• Create and maintain integrated plans, milestones, budgets, forecasts and resource assumptions.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across optical, mechanical, electronics, systems, test, manufacturing, quality and supply chain.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, opportunities and changes with practical mitigation plans.
• Manage customer and internal stakeholder interfaces ensuring alignment on requirements and contracts.
• Support bid planning, estimating, proposal development and handover into delivery.
• Oversee budget control and progress against business objectives.
