Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee multiple project executions across capital maintenance, S101A and water recycling programmes.
  • Ensure profitability, efficiency and compliance with targets (time, cost, quality).
  • Apply strategic project management, financial control and resource allocation.
  • Maintain relationships with client stakeholders, supply chain, subcontractors and third-party stakeholders.
  • Report to governance groups on costs, benefits, performance, efficiencies and timescales.
  • Assess opportunities, identify dependencies and generate programmes of work.
  • Programme-manage and assure delivery of work programmes.
  • Identify programme-output risks and implement mitigation measures.
  • Resolve conflicts and issues as needed.
  • Report progress and communicate business initiatives and investments to stakeholders.
  • Identify future opportunities, prepare business cases and develop workstreams.
  • Track performance to realise strategy and vision.

Job description

  • Lead and oversee multiple project executions across capital maintenance, S101A and water recycling programmes
  • Ensure profitability, efficiency and compliance with corporate targets, including time, cost and quality measures
  • Apply strategic project management, financial control and resource allocation
  • Maintain relationships with client stakeholders, supply chain, subcontractors, internal functions and third‑party stakeholders
  • Report into governance groups on programme costs, benefits, performance, efficiencies, delivery and timescales
  • Assess multiple opportunities, identify dependencies and generate appropriate programmes of work
  • Programme-manage and assure delivery of work programmes
  • Identify programme‑output risks and recommend or implement mitigation measures
  • Resolve conflicts and issues where necessary
  • Report progress and communicate business initiatives and investments to stakeholders
  • Identify future opportunities, prepare business cases and develop project groups/workstreams
  • Track performance to realise the programme strategy and vision
Requirements
  • Engineering, Quantity Surveyor or similar Degree qualification
  • Multi-disciplined construction experience
  • Ideally extensive operations management experience across a broad spectrum of building disciplines
  • Proven commercial, contractual and human resource management skills
  • Proven track record of improved client relationships through successful project delivery
  • Achievement of improved safety performance and industrial relations management
  • Experience engaging and retaining high quality staff to achieve high performance levels
  • Proven history in effective programme management
  • Ability to influence a range of stakeholders including external groups
  • Broad understanding of the regulatory and operating environment
  • Proven short-, medium- and long-term planning experience across wide areas of the business
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement of process and service
