DeepTech Catalyst, part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), seeks a Programme Manager to lead the DTC at Daresbury. You will oversee Biotech and Health tech programmes, liaise with the Head of DTC, and collaborate with Harwell and Edinburgh sites.

You will manage one direct report and work with colleagues handling finance, contracts and administration. Expect close interaction with 20+ start-ups yearly and travel within the UK.

Formación

• Experience with technology-based SMEs and knowledge of their needs to bring a product to market.
• Experience in business incubation and/or technology transfer is ideal.
• Proven ability to manage programs and projects to time and budget.

Responsabilidades

• Lead DTC operations and develop new support programmes at Daresbury.
• Set and deliver targets for DTC programmes (start-ups, graduation rates, case studies).
• Ensure a strong deal-flow by identifying applicants and guiding them to competitive submissions.
• Ensure engagements with DTC at Daresbury are completed and value is realized.
• Manage relationships with co-funding partners (UKRI-BBSRC, Liverpool City Region CA).
• Build partnerships with regional organisations for business support and funding.
• Collaborate with STFC teams to promote DTC impact and outcomes.
• Produce timely business, financial and operations reports.
• Support the DTC Lead to refresh Biotech and Health programme strategies.
