Job summary
Deutsche Bank in Birmingham seeks an Programme & Change Execution Manager (Assistant Vice President) to lead central programme management for KYC transformation across CB/IB. You will partner with business, technology and central leadership to oversee the delivery of critical initiatives on time.

Qualifications
- Experience in transformation programme and portfolio management.
- Experience in Operations / KYC / Client Data within a Banking institution.
- End-to-end Agile experience in large-scale technology delivery in financial institutions.
- Experience in a Management Consulting or in-house Transformation team is desirable.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management across global teams.
Responsibilities
- You will be part of the Central Programme Management team, providing portfolio management and oversight for a complex and varied set of programmes and projects. You will support Program Leads to develop detailed delivery plans and execution approach.
- Provide effective delivery assurance by tracking delivery milestones, spend, and benefits delivery.
- Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigating actions across programme.
- Set up and run processes to enhance the overall delivery success of the portfolio, and coordinate and prepare key governance updates including upwards reporting to programme operating and steering committees, and central forums.
- Discover and demonstrate ways to enhance efficiency and productivity of delivery, with a critical eye on effective risk management. In addition, track programme goals and key performance indicators to measure success.
- Prepare materials to support regular and ad-hoc senior executive communications and regulatory engagement as required and actively manage stakeholders to ensure close collaboration across business, infrastructure functions and technology as well as with other related investment programs. You will also be responsible for the leadership of a small team of PMO / Portfolio Managers

- Experience across Programme and Portfolio management in Transformation.
- Ideally, experience in Operations / KYC / Client Data within a Banking institution
- End to End Agile experience in large scale technology delivery in financial institutions is preferred.
- Experience in a Management Consulting or In-house Transformation team is desirable
- Ability to handle multiple and often competing tasks under tight deadlines.
- Strong Communication skills and Stakeholder management across global teams coupled with a track record demonstrating a proactive approach and ‘can do’ attitude within a wider team.
- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgement to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
