Responsibilities
- Being the first point of contact for Cruise Managers and Local Hosts for day-to-day operational business.
- Communicating last-minute changes to vendors, Cruise Managers, Local Hosts, and ships as needed.
- Liaising with Suppliers on participation levels and services needed per cruise, readjusting as required.
- Controlling the quality and performance of suppliers, Cruise Managers, and Local Hosts (assigned ships).
- Following up on service quality and feedback from Cruise Managers and Local Hosts (assigned ships).
- Covering emergency duties/phone (including weekends) on a rotational basis.
- Communicating with international offices/teams to ensure successful delivery of Uniworld cruises/products.
- Performing general administrative duties, including invoicing queries, deviations, special events/activities, and daily operations for assigned ships.
- Handling special assignments and projects as delegated.
You
- Preferably have previous cruise industry experience and knowledge of European rivers/cities.
- Be an organized and proactive team player capable of working autonomously with outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Develop strong relationships with shipboard staff, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Have at least 2 years of experience in Operations; a background in tourism or hospitality and experience with customers and suppliers is preferred.
- Possess excellent organizational and IT skills (MS Office, presentation software, social media).
- Experience with MarineXchange (MXP) is a plus but not essential.
- Have excellent command of English, both written and verbal; knowledge of an additional European language (German, French, or Italian) is advantageous.
- Be a U.K. citizen or able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.K.
