Job Summary
  1. Take overall responsibility for the success of assigned Programmes and/or Product Families, ensuring they meet business objectives throughout the product lifecycle.
  2. Lead multi-functional teams, coordinate activities, foster team spirit, and facilitate cooperation among all participants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Manage programmes and activities, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure successful outcomes with clear objectives and risk assessments.
  2. Validate sales proposals and technical estimates, ensuring understanding, proper documentation, and business case preparation.
  3. Oversee all commercial and financial aspects, monitor sales and profits, and implement remedial actions as needed.
  4. Establish and communicate a detailed programme plan with milestones and timescales, collaborating with all partners.
  5. Coordinate activities of supporting functions and partners, ensuring resource support and managing relationships.
  6. Organize and lead regular project review meetings, track actions, and manage modifications.
  7. Report progress regularly to customers and internal stakeholders, raising issues promptly.
  8. Ensure comprehensive contractual agreements are in place and reviewed periodically with support from Contract managers.
  9. Collaborate with Sales and Product teams in defining and bidding for new projects, maintaining market knowledge.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in program or project management, preferably in aviation or aerospace.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum, Waterfall.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana) and data tools (Excel, Google Sheets).
