Job summary

Plumbase in Stourbridge is seeking a talented Showroom Manager to run the bathroom showroom as a business, owning day-to-day performance and driving margins. You’ll manage a team of designers/sales staff, guide customers from enquiry to order, and build local installer relationships to generate referral business.

Qualifications

• Experience within bathroom or showroom environment.
• Strong sales ability with focus on conversion, margin and customer journey.
• Commercial mindset with confidence around pricing, suppliers and performance.
• Experience managing or influencing a team (ideal but not essential).
• The ability to build relationships with both retail customers and trade professionals.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the bathroom showroom.
• Manage and develop Bathroom Designers or sales team members to drive results.
• Work with both retail customers and trade professionals from initial enquiry through to completed sale.
• Build strong relationships with local installers to generate consistent referral business.
• Drive new business through local marketing, outreach and repeat customer engagement.
• Influence pricing, product selection and supplier relationships to maximise margin.
• Maintain a high-quality showroom environment that inspires customers and supports sales.
• Use sales data and performance insight to make informed commercial decisions.
