The University of Reading seeks a leader to enhance innovative research and teaching in the School of Pharmacy. The role involves leading health research, mentoring, and contributing to clinical education. The successful candidate will have a strong research portfolio and the ability to drive impactful research.

To provide leadership and contribute to the development of innovative research and teaching within the Reading School of Pharmacy (RSoP) and the wider School of Chemistry, Food and Pharmacy.
Research at RSoP revolves around the following priority areas:
The post holder will pursue a personal research programme in the general area of health research, publish outcomes in outlets of international standing, and ensure research impacts clinical practice and/or policy. They will provide leadership and mentorship to inform strategic research growth within the Health Services research team. Contributions to clinical education and training are also expected.
The successful applicant will have a demonstrable research portfolio, the ability to lead and collaborate effectively, support change, and produce impactful research. Opportunities include taking on additional leadership and administrative roles and engaging in professional development.
