Job summary

Prestige Nursing & Care North Manchester is recruiting a Professional Support Worker to assist clients in their day-to-day lives, including activities, outings and daily living tasks. A valid UK driving licence and reliable vehicle are required.

We offer varied shifts (4-6 hours) across Manchester with flexible rosters. Experience is valued, and comprehensive training is provided to support your development within the community care setting.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence is required, with access to your own vehicle and business insurance.
• Enhanced DBS, Right to Work and reference checks will be undertaken in line with government guidance.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily living skills and personal care as needed.
• Assist with calendar management, cooking, cleaning and accompanying appointments.
• Encourage participation in activities and outings to promote independence.
• Help clients engage in hobbies and community activities as part of care plans.

Professional Support Worker

From £13.75 per hour depending on experience

Shift pattern: 4-6 hours per shift

A full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle along with business insurance is a requirement.

Our clients are looking for reliable, supportive and outgoing support workers to assist them in their day to day lives, whether that’s getting out and about, getting involved in activities or just having a fun and vibrant day!

Our clients have a variety of hobbies, such as sports, shopping, heading to the gym and getting out into the community etc.

Usual daily tasks / needs include daily living skills, calendar management, assisting with cooking and cleaning and facilitating / attending appointments.

Do you need experience?

As much as experience is highly preferred for all of our roles, we do consider applicants that have come from other care related roles as we do offer excellent and high standard training.

In line with CQC & Care Inspectorate regulations, we require and will undertake Enhanced DBS, Right to Work, Reference and Employment History checks in line with Government guidelines for this role and safer recruitment best practice.
