Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) – Real Estate

Part-Time (2–3 days per week)

An established UK law firm is looking for a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to join its Scottish Real Estate team. This is a part-time position (2–3 days per week), ideal for an experienced property lawyer who enjoys knowledge development, training, and supporting excellent client service through legal resources and internal education.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage internal legal knowledge platforms, including online property resources.
• Capture and curate valuable know-how from fee earners, implementing procedures to systematise knowledge sharing.
• Ensure guidance is up-to-date and accessible across the team.

• Draft, update, and manage legal precedents, templates, manuals, and guides.
• Source new styles and ensure documentation aligns with legal and commercial developments.

• Contribute to internal training sessions for solicitors, trainees, and paralegals.
• Assist in testing and implementing automated document solutions.

• Support setup and maintenance of client-facing online legal tools.
• Collaborate to enhance client service delivery through technology.

• Liaise with marketing teams to generate content and promote internal knowledge sharing.

About You

• A qualified property lawyer with experience in Scottish commercial real estate.
• Strong drafting skills, with a passion for knowledge sharing, process improvement, and training.
