This role supports the Litigation division within the firm's Knowledge Management department, alongside other PSLs and a library manager. The focus will include:

  • Updating the team on legal and procedural developments through regular internal updates.
  • Curating and creating know-how resources, and responding to fee earner queries.
  • Collaborating to identify and develop best practices.
  • Delivering or coordinating technical and training sessions for teams and clients.
  • Supporting departmental business development, including profile raising and technological innovations.

Purpose of the job

This role supports the Litigation division within the firm's Knowledge Management department, focusing on:

  • Knowledge sharing and technical training delivery.
  • Updating precedent databases and creating best practice procedures, with a focus on commercial/contract law if applicable.
  • Producing client updates, articles, webinars, and podcasts on legal developments.
  • Supporting training and awareness updates for clients and intermediaries.

Professional Skills:

  • Ability to develop and deliver seminars and training for fee earners at various levels.
  • Deep understanding of litigation and dispute resolution law and practice, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.

The successful candidate will have significant litigation experience in England & Wales, with an excellent academic record. PSL experience is desirable but not essential.

  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel; experience with Prezi, Webex/Adobe Connect is a plus.
