Job summary

Check Point Software is seeking a seasoned network and security specialist in the Greater London area to lead design, deployment, and optimization of high-end Check Point solutions for complex customer networks. You will consult with customers, create design docs and test plans, and train users while coordinating with sales, R&D, and TAC teams.

The candidate brings 8+ years of IP network and security experience, strong TCP/IP knowledge, cloud deployment familiarity, and excellent English

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with IP based networks, network design, and security products.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and cyber security concepts
• Solid understanding of network infrastructure (routing, switching, load balancing) and security products (firewall, VPN, IPS, Anti-Virus, Application Control)
• Good Linux command line knowledge preferred
• Experience with VSX, MDSM and Scalable Platforms preferred.
• Customer oriented and post-sales experience with direct face-to-face service.
• Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and adapt to changes.
• Translate difficult technical concepts to understandable format for non-technical persons.
• Ability to work independently
• Prior experience with Checkpoint Quantum Gateways and/or other Checkpoint products, is preferred
• Experience deploying solutions using cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, is beneficial
• Experience in SASE, such as SD-WAN or Zero Trust Network Access is beneficial
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
