Job summary

Aston Charles Ltd is recruiting for a Leeds-based role within a London Market Claims Team. You will handle specialist Professional Indemnity claims, from first notification to final settlement, updating systems and keeping stakeholders informed.

You will triage claims under the manual and work with brokers to drive initiatives. Applicants with prior insurance claims experience are welcomed; PI-specific experience is not required as full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in insurance claims handling is required.
• Experience with Professional Indemnity claims is not necessary as training will be provided.
• Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.
• Good IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn in-house systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle a portfolio of Professional Indemnity claims from first notification to final settlement.
• Update in-house and London market claim systems and keep stakeholders informed.
• Diarise and triage claims per the Claims Handling Manual and escalate as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers and work with the Claims Manager on initiatives.
