Job summary

Lawes Group in Bristol is seeking a commercially driven Professional Indemnity Developer to lead new business development and grow the PI offering. You will build relationships with prospective clients, professional firms and key market contacts, owning the pipeline from prospecting to placement, with a focus on £100k+ income.

This role offers autonomy to drive your own PI activity, with flexibility for remote work and salary dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of winning new business within the Professional Indemnity market.
• Demonstrable success in generating new business income, with the ability to develop £100k+ in income.
• Strong technical understanding of Professional Indemnity products, risks and client requirements.
• An established network of contacts and the confidence to build new relationships.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development across Professional Indemnity, identifying and converting opportunities into profitable income.
• Build and develop relationships with prospective clients, professional firms and key market contacts.
• Leverage existing networks and market knowledge to generate new business opportunities.
• Manage the full business development process, from initial prospecting through to conversion and placement.
• Develop a strong pipeline of opportunities to support sustained income growth.

I'm working with an established insurance broking business looking to appoint a commercially driven Professional Indemnity Developer to support the growth of its PI offering.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PI professional with a proven track record in winning new business who wants to take ownership of their development pipeline and play a key role in growing the business.

The objective is to develop £100,000+ in new business income, creating a sustainable pipeline of opportunities and building long-term relationships across the Professional Indemnity market.

The Role

• Drive new business development across Professional Indemnity, identifying and converting opportunities into profitable income.
• Build and develop relationships with prospective clients, professional firms and key market contacts.
• Leverage existing networks and market knowledge to generate new business opportunities.
