Job summary

Auto Skills UK in Peterborough is recruiting a Productive Supervisor to lead a busy commercial vehicle workshop. You will supervise and support technicians, manage workshop workflow and prioritise jobs to meet deadlines.

The role requires a hands-on leader with NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, previous supervisory experience, and a Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous). The salary is up to £22 per hour DOE, with overtime rates and a £120 weekly call-out allowance

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience, or ambition to progress into a leadership role.
• Commercial vehicle workshop experience, ideally with HGVs or buses.
• Full UK driving licence; HGV licence advantageous.
• Good communication, organisational and basic IT skills.

Productive Supervisor

Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Productive Supervisor to join a busy commercial vehicle workshop.

Salary - Up to £22 per hour DOE

• Overtime at time and a half.
• Double time on Sundays and bank holidays.
• £120 per week call-out allowance when on standby.

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday: 07:00-15:00 / 15:00-23:00 (rotating shifts).
• Alternative Saturdays: 08:00-12:00 (overtime at time and a half).
