Our extensive direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network, with 17 depots, enables us to make over 10,500 daily deliveries of chilled and frozen produce, including third-party products.

What you'll be doing

As Production Zone Manager, you will lead nominated colleagues and manage process consistency within your department or zone to ensure products meet standards and production plans.

Shift: Nights/18:00 - 06:00 (3x shifts per week on a 6-week rota)

1. Deliver productivity and efficiency targets aligned with the production plan.
2. Monitor raw materials, operational processes, and the production environment to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
3. Review labour deployment to match production requirements.
4. Communicate effectively with the operations team, reporting progress and highlighting risks.
5. Ensure machinery and equipment performance through OEE.
6. Promote a Health, Safety, and Environment culture, ensuring procedures are followed and near misses are reported.
7. Identify opportunities for sustainable improvements in quality, performance, and profit.
8. Review team capabilities, ensuring colleagues are focused and developed.
9. Contribute to customer and process development reviews for quality and consistency improvements.
