Job summary

AeroFlow Technologies LLC in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled welding operator to manufacture and weld components to drawings and routing requirements for aerospace assemblies. You will be trained under a Team Leader, read weld data cards, and ensure quality while maintaining safety and housekeeping.

Experience with Titanium, Inconel and stainless steel is preferred. The role requires adherence to AWPS and procedures, a time-served apprenticeship, and a collaborative approach to improve

Qualifications

• Time served apprenticeship or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Ability to read weld data cards and weld to the specification.
• Experience with Titanium, Inconel & stainless steel.
• Experience in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

• Work to drawings and route cards requirements.
• Obtain and maintain Operator verification approval stamps.
• Work efficiently within agreed standards.
• Assist in introducing new techniques and improved methods of working where possible.
• Responsible for general housekeeping and tidiness on the shop.
• Bring forward ideas to improve and reduce costs in production where possible.
• Be conversant with AWPS and operating procedures used on the above job description.
• Be familiar with Health and Safety and Fire policies for the company and attend mandatory updates where required.
• Flexible attitude towards work/teamwork.

Job description

To manufacture and weld various assemblies using recognised trade skills under the supervision of a Team Leader. To produce quality finished components to drawings and routing requirements that meet Aerospace standards.

• To work to drawing and route cards requirements
