Production Technician within event and exhibition sector at Tecna UK

Lead the Way as a Production Technician at Tecna UK!

As our business continues to expand, we’re searching for a Production Technician to join our dynamic and exciting Production team at our Farnborough HQ.

This is a full-time, permanent role that offers a unique opportunity to be at the heart of a creative, fast-growing company. If you’re an ambitious self-starter with a passion for delivering top-notch service, this role is perfect for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Predominantly work with wood / sheet materials to fabricate and assemble counters, shelving units, and other bespoke items.
  • Be part of the team responsible for all custom/bespoke production requirements within the company, fabricated internally or out-sourced.
  • Liaise with the Projects and Sales teams, collaborating on design and costings where required.
  • Be able to manage workload, lead times, and prioritize tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Build excellent relations with external suppliers to ensure Tecna UK attains the best service levels and value.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels of sheet materials, liaising with the Operations Administrator to place orders where necessary.
  • Manage stock of bespoke rental items, replacing and refurbishing items where required.
  • Ensure that Health and Safety procedures are followed within the production area at all times.
  • Constantly look to improve product offerings with new ideas or efficiency improvements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Someone with experience in woodworking / assembly
  • Someone with a history of working with tools
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • Someone willing to get hands-on with material
  • Experience with a CNC machine, table-saw, edge-bander is preferred but not essential
  • Confidence under pressure and a passion for delivering great results.

Salary £25,000.00 - £35,000.00 depending on experience.
