Job summary

Steatite Antennas specialises in the design, development, and manufacture of high-performance antenna solutions for demanding and mission-critical applications. You will join our experienced manufacturing team as a Production Technician, contributing to the construction, testing and production of bespoke RF and electrical products with high standards of quality and precision.

Responsibilities

• Follow technical instructions and interpret technical drawing packs.
• Inspect quality and tolerances of components prior to assembly.
• Convert stock materials into key components.
• Assemble components using hand and power tools.
• Inspect sub-assemblies and completed products for defects prior to testing.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Document progress and report issues.
• Test finished products to ensure conformance.
• Diagnose and rectify issues with faulty products.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and implement improvements.
• Ensure production deadlines are achieved.
• Follow company procedures and policies.
• Support other departments when required.

We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician to join our experienced manufacturing team.

You will play an integral role in the construction, testing and production of our bespoke RF and electrical products, ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow technical instructions and interpret technical drawing packs
• Inspect quality and tolerances of components prior to assembly
• Convert stock materials into key components
• Assemble components using hand and power tools
• Inspect sub-assemblies and completed products for defects prior to testing
