As the Production Technician, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company that is constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

You will be involved in:

• Assembling, inspecting, and testing products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Disassembling, surveying, inspecting, documenting, and repairing products.
• Reading, interpreting, and following technical engineering documents required to complete tasks.
• Following instructions and documentation precisely.
• Following processes to ensure effective management of FOD (Foreign Object Debris), Tool Control, Electrostatic Discharge, Security of Assets, etc.
• Participating in health and safety training as required and performing health and safety roles as needed (e.g., fire marshal).
• Highlighting and identifying issues and engaging in structured problem-solving activities to find root causes and solutions.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and efficiency.
• Following procedures to perform preventive maintenance and calibration tasks, reporting any issues found.
• Maintaining records of assembly processes, tests, and inspections performed.
• Working within a highly technical, secure, and complex environment.
• Attaining and maintaining IPC-A-610 standard, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.
