JDR Recruitment is assisting a well established international client to recruit a Production Team Leader for their site in Preston South. The role is to lead and develop the production team, ensuring safe, efficient operations and meeting output targets.

You will coach teams, drive continuous improvement, ensure quality documentation, and collaborate with engineering and operations. A strong background in manufacturing leadership and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach are essential.

Production Team Leader

Preston South

Hours of work Monday to Thursday 2 - midnight (4 days)

We are looking for a leader playing an important role in the production of products. The client is looking for an experienced and motivated Leader who can really inspire others and drive high standards and support the development of the individuals in a positive high performing culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the day to day operation of the production area
• Ensure the safe, efficient and effective operation of plant, equipment and processes

We are looking for an engaging and motivated Team Leader who can coach, support and develop production teams. You must have proven experience along in MANUFACTURING/PRODUCTION LEADERSHIP strong communication and people management skills. You will need to be extremely proactive with strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail. If you are positive and have a resilient mindset with the ability to lead the team through change and challenges this would be a role for you ! You must have an a good understand of Health and Safety in manufacturing environments
