Job summary

Yeo Valley is seeking a Production Team Manager at our Newton Abbot site to lead a production team on days. This fixed-term role runs 6:00 to 18:00, four days on, four days off, overseeing safety, quality, cost and efficiency while developing team capabilities.

You will collaborate with other functions to plan work, improve processes, and ensure material handling and dispatch meet high standards, with a focus on continuous improvement and leadership best practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to influence people at all levels.
• Demonstrable problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in IT software such as Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production team to ensure effective delivery of products.
• Lead Health & Safety within area of responsibility and promote safety culture.
• Develop the team to achieve KPIs: safety, quality, delivery, cost.
• Collaborate with other functions to plan, prioritise and deliver.
• Support and supervise raw materials handling and finished product dispatch.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives applying CI principles.
