Job summary

Yeo Valley Group is seeking a Production Team Manager for our Newton Abbot site on a 6-month secondment. You will lead and develop a production team on the Days shift (6:00–18:00, 4 days on/4 days off), ensuring materials, in-process and finished goods meet quality and safety standards while seeking cost efficiencies.

You’ll collaborate with other functions to plan work, manage resources and report on performance, developing talent and embedding CI practices to improve overall production metrics.

Qualifications

• Ability to influence people at all levels.
• Demonstrable problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in IT software such as Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Production Team on Days shift to meet targets of safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Promote health & safety within the area and drive continuous improvement in safety culture.
• Develop team capability to achieve KPIs and autonomy in decision-making.
