About the role

Join us as a Production Team Leader and you'll be a key part of the Greggs Team, responsible for making and packing the nation's favourite Greggs products. You'll have a passion for quality and will follow all the correct processes and procedures to ensure the best products are made and our customers are satisfied.

You'll work with a great, close-knit team, in a fast-paced, high-performance environment where timescales and targets are important, leading and motivating the team to ensure the day-to-day production and packaging operations run smoothly.

You'll play an important part in producing our famous products, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards, whilst following health, safety, and hygiene processes. Working in a food production environment means that sometimes you'll be exposed to flour and dust. You will also be expected to work in a chilled/frozen environment.

About you

Ideally, you'll have previously worked as a Team Leader in a similar environment. You'll also need:

• To be comfortable standing for long periods of time, lifting, and carrying
• To be comfortable with handling, preparing, and baking food
• To have pride in the quality of the products you produce
• A good knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene processes
• Be supportive of an inclusive culture - recognizing and valuing that difference is good
