Job summary

Samworth Brothers in Melton Mowbray is seeking a High Care Team Leader to steer the High Care shift, ensuring food safety, quality and on‑time production.

You will plan workloads, guide and train the team, perform production checks, keep accurate records and uphold hygiene standards across the line. This role suits a proactive leader within a collaborative, quality‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production or a similar role.
• Experience of leading or supporting a team.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Good understanding of production checks and records.
• Able to deal with problems and make safe decisions.

• Work closely with Production, Quality, and other teams

About The Role

As a High Care Team Leader, you will lead the High Care team in a busy food production area. You will make sure products are made safely, correctly, and on time. You will plan work, support your team, and make sure food safety, hygiene, and quality standards are met at all times.
