The Menu Partners Ltd is seeking a proactive Team Leader for our Food Production team in the United Kingdom. You will oversee packing and dispatch, drive performance, and support daily operations with a hands-on leadership approach.

You will lead by example, foster a positive culture, and ensure team alignment with organisational goals while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This role requires shift flexibility and a collaborative mindset.

Job description

As a Team Leaderfor our Food Production team oversees packing and dispatching, you'll play a key role in driving performance, supporting your team, and ensuring smooth, efficient daily operations. You'll lead by example, create a positive working culture, and keep everyone aligned with organisational goals.

As aTeam Leader your key responsibilities will be:

• Supervise and lead a team of employees, providing guidance, direction, and support as needed.
• Set clear goals and objectives for the team and individual team members, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
• Monitor team performance and productivity, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and development to existing team members to foster skill development and career growth.
• Foster a positive work environment characterized by open communication, collaboration, and mutual respect.
• Address any issues or conflicts within the team in a timely and constructive manner, promoting resolution and maintaining team morale.
• Serve as a point of contact between team members and management, relaying information, concerns, and feedback as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations, and promote adherence to safety standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with other departments or teams to achieve cross-functional objectives and deliver integrated solutions.
• Provide regular reports and updates to management on team performance, progress towards goals, and any relevant issues or challenges.

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience in a food production environment, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and coach team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and quality standards are preferred.
• Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as required.
