Job summary

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Production Team Leader to join our team on a client site in Blantyre. This hands-on role manages our temporary workforce on site day to day, from morning check-ins to inductions and workforce planning.

You will be the first point of contact for both workers and the client, maintaining strong relationships and keeping operations running smoothly. A practical, organised approach and onsite management experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, onsite management or a production environment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with a hands-on approach.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to balance multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily attendance checks and source replacements as needed.
• Meet new starters, allocate PPE and carry out site inductions.
• Update attendance records, timesheets and manning schedules.
• Perform production floor walks to monitor PPE and compliance.
• Carry out performance reviews and maintain training records.

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Production Team Leader to join our team, based at a client’s site in Blantyre.

This is a hands‑on, people‑focused role managing our temporary workforce on site day to day. From morning check in’s and inductions through to workforce planning and building strong relationships with the client’s team. You’ll be the first point of contact for both our workers and the client, keeping the operation running smoothly on both sides.

What’s on offer?

• Temporary ongoing position
• Monday to Friday, 6:15am to 3:15pm
• Paid weekly at £13.71 per hour

As a Production Team Leader, your duties will include:

• Conducting daily attendance checks and sourcing replacements where needed
• Meeting new starters, allocating PPE and carrying out site inductions
• Updating attendance records, timesheets and manning schedules
• Carrying out production floor walk‑rounds to monitor PPE and compliance
• Conducting performance reviews and maintaining training records

To be considered as a Production Team Leader, you will need:

• Previous experience within recruitment, onsite management or a production environment
• Strong communication and organisational skills with a hands‑on approach
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
• The ability to balance multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment
• Good attention to detail and accurate record keeping
