Job summary

Perrigo in the United Kingdom seeks a Production Team Leader to manage a group of production lines and a team of operators. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while controlling costs and ensuring on-time delivery.

You will mentor and appraise staff, lead training, coordinate with engineering and quality teams, and implement continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy to Level 2 Maths and English.
• Experience in supervising in a fast-moving consumer goods environment.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with internal/external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of quality systems in a regulated environment.
• Recognised supervision/continuous improvement qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of production operators (10–20 people) to meet safety, quality, volume, and cost targets.
• Train, appraise, and conduct attendance reviews; support recruitment and disciplinary investigations.
• Report to the Production Shift Manager and collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams.
• Manage line-specific order processes and documentation; optimize the production plan.
• Drive improvement projects related to safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Organise handovers and participate in required meetings; escalate decisions when needed.
