Job summary

The role involves fault finding, process improvement and supporting manufacturing and testing activities.

The position covers setting up production cells, developing test procedures, and mentoring workshop personnel, with a path to permanent employment after an initial temporary period.

Qualifications

• HND in Electrical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC and electrical systems.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and PLC data.

Responsibilities

• Advanced fault finding across electrical, refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Support production, testing and overhaul teams with technical issues.
• Develop and improve test procedures, work instructions and technical documentation.
• Support product trials, testing and validation activities.
• Set up and optimise production cells, tooling and processes.
• Support new product introduction and engineering improvements.
• Develop and commission test equipment.
• Read electrical schematics and PLC data.
• Mentor workshop and test facility personnel.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, quality, safety and reliability initiatives.
