Job summary

CMD Recruitment is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to support refrigeration and electrical systems in Corsham, Wiltshire. The role covers fault finding, production support, testing, and introducing new products, acting as the bridge between Engineering and Operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing environments, an HND in Electrical Engineering, and experience with electrical schematics, PLCs, CAD and Windchill.

Qualifications

• Strong background in manufacturing, maintenance, overhaul or service environments.
• HND in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline is preferred.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and diagnosing PLC systems.
• Experience with CAD tools and PLM systems like Windchill is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, mentoring and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Advanced fault finding across electrical, refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Support production, testing and overhaul teams with technical issues.
• Develop and improve test procedures, work instructions and technical documentation.
• Support product trials, testing and validation activities.
• Set up and optimise production cells, tooling and processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, quality, safety and reliability initiatives.
• Mentor workshop and test facility personnel.
