Job summary

Advantage Resourcing UK Ltd in Manchester is partnering with a leading manufacturer to recruit a Production Operator for a 12-month contract at Trafford Park. The role involves operating an automated production plant and forklift duties on a 12-hour shift cycle.

You will work within a safety-focused environment, following SOPs and collaborating with multiple departments to keep production moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must have SCADA experience.
• FLT licence and forklift experience required.
• Experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate an automated production plant using SCADA systems.
• Load/unload goods, materials, and road tankers using an FLT.
• Follow SOPs and manufacturing processes to maintain quality standards.
• Liaise with colleagues across multiple departments by phone, email, and in person.
• Keep the work area clean, safe and well-organised.
• Adhere to all health & safety and quality procedures.

£16.57 per hour (PAYE) + £675 per month (shift allowance)

We’re working with a leading manufacturer whose innovative products are supplied worldwide. They’re looking for an experienced ProductionOperator to join their production team, operating cutting‑edge automated systems and keeping things moving in a busy, safety‑focused environment.

This is a hands‑on role that combines production operations, forklift truck work, and working closely with other departments to make sure everything runs smoothly.

What you’ll be doing:

• Operating an automated production plant using SCADA systems.
• Loading/unloading goods, materials, and road tankers using an FLT.
• Following SOPs and manufacturing processes to maintain quality standards.

• A valid FLT licence and proven forklift experience.
