Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Production Supervisor in Pontypridd. The role leads a shift, coordinates daily production activities, and liaises with planning to meet schedules.

It focuses on quality, health and safety and staff development within a family-run, secure business with a new site. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in manufacturing, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate a team while ensuring procedures and 5S standards are

Qualifications

• Leadership experience within a manufacturing setting.

• Has a strong understanding of quality, health & safety and production standards. – manual handling etc
• Can motivate and develop a production team.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting production staff throughout the shift.
• Coordinating daily production activities and ensuring schedules are achieved.
• Liaising with Planning and Management to meet production requirements.
• Monitoring product quality and responding promptly to production or quality issues.
• Training, developing and supporting production team members.
• Ensuring company procedures, PPE, health & safety and hygiene standards are followed.
• Managing labour effectively to ensure production runs efficiently.
• Supporting continuous improvement and ensuring 5S principles are maintained.

My client are seeking a dedicated Production Shift Manager to join their fast-paced and innovative production team. A family ran business, this company is in a very secure position with recently opened new site bolstering the businesses outlook. As a Production Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of manufacturing processes while leading and developing a team of skilled operators.

Role & Responsibilities:
