At TE Connectivity, our Manufacturing and Production teams play a critical role in transforming raw materials into high-quality finished goods. As a Production Lead on the 2nd Shift (4pm to 12pm), you will lead a team to ensure efficient production flow, adherence to quality standards, and continuous improvement in a safe, clean, and organized environment. You will be responsible for shift leadership, team development, performance management, and driving operational excellence aligned with TE Connectivity’s values and safety policies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead by example, maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Monitor and ensure team adherence to quality standards and customer satisfaction metrics.

Track and drive performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in quality, cost, and delivery.

Collaborate with planning and support teams to resolve production, resource, or scheduling issues.

Deliver clear, consistent communication through shift briefs and team meetings.

Manage team performance through coaching, appraisals, and performance development plans.

Champion and enforce safety protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies.

Identify non-conformities and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques.

Oversee implementation of engineering changes, new product introductions, and production trials.

Coordinate with maintenance for timely resolution of machinery and equipment issues.

Promote Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to enhance equipment uptime.

Lead problem-solving efforts to resolve customer concerns and eliminate root causes.

Ensure compliance with internal and external audits and quality standards.

Your ideal background

Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams to meet operational goals.

High level of numeracy and data-driven decision-making ability.

Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

Flexible and resilient with the ability to adapt to changing demands.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant production systems.

In-depth understanding of customer expectations, quality standards, and cost implications.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement practices is highly desirable.
