Job summary

Haughey Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Production Supervisor for a busy Dungannon site. You will oversee daily manufacturing and despatch activities, drive production performance and ensure orders are completed safely, efficiently and to quality standards.

We are seeking a hands-on leader with at least 3 years in manufacturing, proven experience supervising a team, and strong organisation, communication and problem-solving skills. GCSE-level education or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' manufacturing experience.
• 2+ years' experience leading or supervising a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily production and despatch activities to meet customer deadlines.
• Lead, motivate and manage a production team, setting targets and monitoring performance.
• Collaborate with production planning and other departments to maintain workflow and delivery schedules.
• Monitor product quality to ensure customer specifications and standards are met.
• Identify and resolve production issues, delays, shortages and equipment breakdowns.
• Promote a safe working environment with health and safety procedures and risk assessments.
• Identify training needs and deliver toolbox talks.
• Drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing principles.
• Monitor attendance, overtime and production records.
• Encourage team engagement and implement efficiency improvements.

Essential Criteria
