Job summary

Gill Cooke Personnel Ltd T/A The Recruitment Group seeks a Production Supervisor in Witney to lead a small production team. You will supervise hands-on assembly and testing of electronic products, manage workloads, and coordinate schedules to meet targets.

Experience in manufacturing with leadership potential is valued; electrical/electronics experience is a plus. Traditional Monday–Friday hours with an early finish at 12:30pm on Fridays and a pension scheme are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and communication skills; able to interpret technical drawings.

• Maintain quality standards, health and safety and good housekeeping.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Liaise with production staff and management to ensure smooth operations.

Are you an experienced manufacturing professional ready to take the next step into a supervisory role?

We are recruiting for a well-established manufacturing business in Witney seeking a hands‑on Production Supervisor to support the assembly and testing of electronic products while coordinating a small production team.

Previous supervisory experience is beneficial but not essential, as candidates with strong manufacturing experience and leadership potential will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the production team, leading by example.

• Coordinate schedules and ensure materials and components are available.
• Carry out hands‑on assembly and manufacturing of transformers and wound magnetic components.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a hands‑on manufacturing or production environment.
• Previous team‑leading experience or the potential to step into a supervisory role.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• A proactive, reliable and hands‑on approach.
• Experience in electrical, electronics, transformer or coil winding manufacturing would be advantageous.
