Job Description:

Help us make a difference as a Production Supervisor at our facility in Sherburn in Elmet.

A quick look at the role.

To support site management in the day-to-day management and supervision of the facility and its teams in achieving targets and goals. This position requires someone to be hands-on and technically minded due to machinery needing frequent maintenance.

Shift pattern: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off, repeat (7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am).

Your core responsibilities.

• Ensure Health & Safety standards, policies, and procedures are observed, maintained, and reviewed.
• Maintain quality standards.
• Monitor and assist shift performance and discipline.
• Promote and manage change.
• Maintain Health & Safety standards and performance on site.
• Supervise the day-to-day running of the facility.
• Deputise in the absence of the Production Manager.
• Assist the team in achieving the site's KPIs.

Requirements

• General understanding of engineering - mechanical/electrical.
• Working knowledge of H&S, IOSH (Desirable).
• Knowledge of ISO standards and requirements.
• Previous management/supervisor experience in production/manufacturing environments (Desirable).
