Job Description

This position requires a skilled Production Supervisor who is adept at overseeing industrial and manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are manufactured to a high standard in a cost-efficient manner.

Client Details

Our client is a well-established organization in the industrial and manufacturing sector. Known for its commitment to sustainability and has a reputation for delivering quality products to its diverse customer base.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure safe working practices are maintained and SOPs adhered to.
2. Manage and develop shift operators.
3. Perform daily pre-start shift safety toolbox talks for all employees in the production team.
4. Understand fully the KPIs which drive business-critical performance metrics.
5. Participate in all meetings with respect for others and encourage input from all.
6. Question the status quo and look for improvements in day-to-day operations.
7. Manage data collection, ensure all data is current, accurate, and constantly monitored.
8. Conduct regular performance reviews with production staff.
9. Ensure compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 standards.
10. Lead the shift 5S program to improve plant organization.
11. Control holidays and absences.
12. Investigate issues using the company's disciplinary procedures.

Profile

A successful Production Supervisor should have:

• IOSH Managing Safely qualification - NEBOSH.
• Experience in a supervisory role within the industrial and manufacturing industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of production processes and quality control standards.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Job Offer

Whats on offer:

• £40,000 - £43,000 DOE
• Double Days: Early shift 06:00 - 14:00, Late shift 14:00 - 22:00
