Job Description:

The Production Supervisor is a key leadership role within the production directorate, reporting directly to the Production Manager. In their absence, the Supervisor has delegated authority over the operational program and colleagues within the department, while strategic and financial decisions remain with the Production Manager. Responsibilities include supporting all Production Manager duties, driving business, leading change, fostering talent, and creating a positive team environment.

Qualifications:

• HNC/HND (or equivalent) in engineering or aircraft maintenance, or
• Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship, or
• Equivalent experience leading technical teams

Experience and Knowledge:

• People management experience in an operational, unionised environment
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Performance management experience
• Experience with coaching and development
• Understanding of MRO operations and aviation regulations (e.g., CAA/FAA/EASA)
• Knowledge of process improvement and change management
• Health & Safety regulations knowledge
• Proficiency in data platforms (SAP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Trustworthy and team-oriented
• Ability to lead, inspire, and communicate operational strategies
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills
