Job summary

Ethero Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to assist the Production Manager in delivering a first-class service.

The role emphasizes yield optimization, team motivation, and disciplined HR processes to meet KPI targets, with a strong focus on continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Marel and TVI Portioning machinery, solid communication skills, and a commitment to Health & Safety and Hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in production supervision and KPI delivery.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Knowledge of Marel and TVI Portioning machinery preferred.
• Level 3 Food Hygiene and Health & Safety at Work qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Manager in delivering a first-class service.
• Maintain focus on yield and giveaway.
• Supervise HR activities: training, appraisals and discipline to reach KPIs.
• Monitor hourly performance and drive outputs against criteria.
• Maintain and audit processes to uphold standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure Health & Safety and Hygiene standards are always maintained.

Job description

• To assist the Production Manager(s) in delivery of a first-class service
• Strong Focus on Yield and giveaway
• Supervises all human resources effectively ensuring personnel development, training, appraisals and discipline are co-ordinated to reach the Departments KPI’s
• Actively gauges moral in the team and takes action to address issues and provide support as required/is necessary
• Organises the departmental resources to meet the output and quality requirements.
• Monitors the day by the hour performance and works with all employees against agreed criteria
• Maintains and audits processes to ensure standards are maintained
• Seeks out improvements and encourages an environment of active continuous improvement
• Ensure that compliance with Health and Safety, COSSH, Hygiene standards are always maintained

Pay: £31,571,60 per annum

Any lawful deductions will be explained clearly before engagement. Statutory deductions such as Tax, National Insurance, and pension contributions (where applicable) will apply.

Working Pattern:

• Days: Monday - Friday
• Hours: 16:00 - 01:00

Candidate Requirements:

• A calm and focused individual.
• Self-motivated and able to motivate others.
• Ideally knowledge of Marel and TVI Portioning machinery
• Good communication skills both written and oral.
• IT and Systems proficient.
• Disciplined with procedures and structured with approach.
• Ideally trained to Level 3 Food Hygiene plus Health and Safety at Work.

Essential: Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and meet the standards required for the role.
