Job summary

ASC Connections is recruiting a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations within a growing engineering and industrial sector. You will drive safety, quality and delivery targets while promoting Continuous Improvement across the shop floor.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will mentor operatives, coordinate production activities and uphold ISO 9001 standards, aiming for right-first-time results and long-term career development.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading teams to meet quality, safety and delivery targets.
• Knowledge of Lean, 5S and Continuous Improvement principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations and meet production targets.

A Production Supervisor opportunity has arisen within a well-established manufacturing business operating within the engineering and industrial sectors. Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards and health & safety requirements are consistently achieved while driving Continuous Improvement across the shop floor.

Production Supervisor responsibilities include:

• Leading, motivating and developing Production Operatives across multiple manufacturing processes.
• Coordinating daily production activities to achieve safety, quality and delivery targets.
• Monitoring production performance, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Driving Continuous Improvement, 5S and Lean Manufacturing initiatives across the shop floor.
• Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and maintaining a right-first-time culture.
• Supporting training, coaching and performance development while promoting a safe working environment.

Production Supervisor desirable skills and experience:

• Previous supervisory, Team Leader or Senior Production experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading production teams to achieve quality, safety and delivery targets.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and 5S principles.
• Experience working within an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment.
• A proactive, hands-on leadership style with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
