Job summary

Elate Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Production Shift Leader for our client. This full-time, permanent role has a starting salary of £36,231.33 per annum.

Working hours are Monday to Friday with alternating weekly shifts, 6:00am – 2:00pm and 2:00pm – 10:00pm. You will lead production teams to meet targets, ensure health and safety, manage performance and develop staff; IOSH qualification preferred, 3+ years' supervisory experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Production Shift Leader, Team Leader, or Supervisory role within manufacturing.
• IOSH qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is advantageous.

• Lead, motivate, coach and develop production teams to achieve productivity, quality, and safety targets.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and promote a positive safety culture.
• Manage team performance, attendance, training, and development.
• Coordinate shift activities to meet production schedules and KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Complete production reporting and maintain accurate records.
• Work closely with other departments to support operational performance.
