Job summary

Kinisla is seeking a Production Operator to convert raw materials into work in progress (WIP) and finished goods by following standard procedures. You will join the production team to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards while supporting day-to-day operations.

You will gain experience in process changeovers, data recording, quality checks, and autonomous maintenance as part of a proactive team dedicated to continuous improvement and product

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or processing environment; machine operation experience preferred.
• Good written, verbal, and numerical skills; ability to communicate in English.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to follow SOPs at line speed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accurately recording production data.
• Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; proactive in improvement.
• Team player with ownership, adaptability and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate production processes safely and efficiently in line with SOPs.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and report production issues affecting quality, performance, safety, or efficiency.
• Inspect raw materials and packaging for quality, batch accuracy and shelf-life compliance.
• Verify material availability and readiness of lines before start-up and changeovers.
• Set up equipment and perform product and process changeovers per procedures.
• Record and monitor data including downtime, waste, yields, non-conformances, and changeovers.
• Carry out quality checks on WIP and finished products before release.
• Perform routine autonomous maintenance and equipment checks for safe operation.

As a Production Operator, you will convert raw materials into work in progress (WIP) and finished goods by following standard work procedures. Working as part of the production team, you will ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards while supporting smooth day-to-day operations.

What will I be doing?

• Operate production processes safely and efficiently in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and standard work practices.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and report production issues affecting quality, performance, safety, or operational efficiency.
• Conduct inspections of raw materials and packaging to ensure quality, batch accuracy, and shelf-life compliance.
• Verify the availability of materials, consumables, and production lines prior to start-up, changeovers, and production runs.
• Set up production equipment and perform product and process changeovers in accordance with approved procedures.
• Accurately record and monitor operational data, including downtime, waste, yields, non-conformances, and changeover performance.
• Carry out quality checks on work-in-progress and finished products, ensuring specifications are met before release to the next stage.
• Perform routine autonomous maintenance and equipment checks to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
