Job summary

Albert Bartlett is seeking a Production Shift Manager for our Fresh potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire. You will lead production operations, manage Team Leaders and Operatives, and ensure the product meets customer requirements while data flows accurately through ERP systems.

The role involves a 4 days on, 4 days off rolling shift (05:30–18:00) and requires strong leadership, a focus on safety, and a track record of delivering efficiency improvements in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a managerial role within a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality assurance, and health & safety compliance.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of developing teams.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities to identify improvements.
• Effective communication skills for engaging with team members and management alike.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the production operations during your shift, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to schedules.
• Lead, train, and motivate team members to achieve production goals while fostering a positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
• Monitor production metrics and make necessary adjustments to optimize processes and enhance productivity.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on feedback and performance analysis.
