Ibstock Plc is recruiting a Production Shift Manager for our Chesterton factory in Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire on a 12 month fixed term contract. The role is full-time and based at the site with a focus on delivering production targets and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will lead the Production team, drive improvements using the Ibstock Manufacturing system, and ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards while coordinating with other departments to

Responsibilities

• Develop and promote Company, Factory and team plans and ensure their implementation.
• Manage and develop the team through performance reviews to meet objectives.
• Apply the manufacturing system to deliver continuous improvement across manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures.
• Collect and analyse production data to meet targets and objectives.
• Develop systems and standards for world-class housekeeping using 5S.
• Procure production materials and services within defined areas.
• Liaise across departments to achieve defined objectives.
