Job summary

Ibstock Plc in Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire, invites applications for a Production Shift Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will lead manufacturing teams on shift, drive performance, safety, and quality, and ensure delivery of production plans at Chesterton factory.

You will apply 5S and continuous improvement tools, manage resources, and collaborate across departments to meet targets. The role demands leadership, planning skills and a proactive approach in a busy factory

Responsibilities

• Develop and promote plans across Company and Factory to meet objectives.
• Lead production teams on shift to deliver on targets and improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.
• Analyse data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate across departments to achieve defined objectives.
